Why contboxx

For people who don't work at a desk

Every shift walks past it

People on the line, in the warehouse or on a forklift don't have a company email account. Early, late and night shifts all pass the screens at the plant entrance and in the break room. With something new every day, it's worth a look, and so are your notices.

In the language your crew speaks

The channels run in 31 languages, translated automatically, including Polish, Romanian, Turkish, Bulgarian and Ukrainian. One screen shows German, the one next to it the language most common on your early shift.

Catch the train after the late shift

At 10 p.m., every minute counts. At the exit, the departure board shows the nearest Deutsche Bahn station in real time with delays and platform changes, plus the bus stop at the plant gate by timetable.

FAQ

What you should know

Is there a free digital bulletin board?

contboxx provides the content for one, not software for posting your own notices. To try it out, there's the Free plan: no cost, no credit card, all AI channels and a small daily quota of requests. More requests, more screens and soccer come with Starter and up.

What do I need to run it on a break room screen?

A screen with a player or digital signage system that can display web pages. Pick your content in the dashboard and add the URL to the player. For custom layouts, there's RSS, JSON and a REST API. contboxx doesn't ship any hardware.

What should our works council (Betriebsrat) know?

The content is display-only: no camera, no sign-in, no input and no tracking of who looks when. contboxx doesn't collect data about your employees. Whether the works council needs to be involved is something you clarify with it directly, as with any new technology.

Can we keep showing our own notices and cafeteria menu?

Yes, in the same playlist: safety reminders, shift schedules, invitations to staff meetings. You keep creating those in your own system. contboxx has no notice templates and no editor for your own menus; it fills the time in between.
