Why contboxx

For the hours between treatments and dinner

No reruns after three days

Anyone staying three or four weeks notices every loop. The channels keep writing themselves, Daily Quiz asks five changing questions, and Mini Chess Puzzle sets a chess puzzle to solve in one or a few moves.

A rematch the next evening

Two guests play Nine Men's Morris or backgammon against each other, or one takes on a friendly computer opponent. Whoever lost on Tuesday asks for a rematch on Wednesday—same screen, same lounge.

Weather for the free afternoon

A walk through the spa gardens, or an afternoon of backgammon? The forecast for the clinic's location appears in landscape or portrait, in an animated design if you like.

Good to know

In 2023, a stay at a German preventive care or rehabilitation facility lasted 25.6 days on average—long enough for any rerun on the screen to stand out. Source: KBV health data, based on Destatis, 2023 (opens in a new tab)

FAQ

What you should know

What does contboxx cost for a rehab clinic?

Testing costs nothing: the Free plan needs no credit card and includes every AI channel, one API key and a small daily allowance of requests. For Nine Men's Morris, backgammon and the other games, more requests and screens in the lobby, dining hall and lounge, choose Starter, Basic or Professional; Enterprise is available on request.

How does it get onto the screens in our clinic?

In the dashboard, you get a URL and enter it into your digital signage system or player; anything that displays web pages can run it. The games need a touchscreen, and for custom layouts, the content is also available as RSS, JSON or through the REST API.

Does the program repeat during a stay?

The AI channels update themselves continuously, so new posts arrive every day. Daily Quiz asks changing questions, and a game of Nine Men's Morris or backgammon rarely plays out like the last one.

Will the games disturb other guests in the lounge?

The games on this page have no sound, and the news and weather widgets are silent, too. Whoever is reading, playing cards or on the phone nearby won't hear a thing from the screen.
