For visitors, patients and staff on every shift

The next bus, right in the lobby

Many visitors don't drive. For the nearest Deutsche Bahn station, the departure board shows delays and platform changes in real time; for the bus and tram stops outside, it shows the timetable. Visitors leaving after hours know whether to hurry.

News in 31 languages

Patients from abroad, relatives who don't read German: every channel plays in 31 languages, translated automatically. In the outpatient waiting area, the same channel can run in German, English and Arabic, one after the other.

For staff in the break room

Whether someone starts the early shift at six or takes a break at 3 a.m., the break room screen shows current news and the weather for the end of the shift. The content collects no data about staff, and the games need no sign-in.

What you should know

What does contboxx cost for a hospital with many screens?

You can start for free: the Free plan costs nothing, needs no credit card and includes every AI channel, but comes with one API key and a small daily allowance of requests. Each player gets its own key, so for several areas, the games and more requests per day, choose Starter, Basic or Professional; Enterprise is available on request.

How do we connect contboxx to our digital signage system?

In the dashboard, you get a URL for each selection and enter it into your system—anything that displays web pages can run it. For custom layouts, the content is also available as RSS, JSON or through the REST API. There's no app, and your IT team doesn't have to install anything.

Which channels work in the emergency department waiting area?

You decide for each screen. We suggest weather, Science, Nature or Curiosities there—topics unrelated to accidents or illness. Channels with disaster alerts or celebrity gossip simply stay out of the selection.

Is contboxx a bedside TV system for patient rooms?

No. contboxx provides content for screens in shared spaces: the lobby, waiting areas, cafeteria, pediatric ward and staff break rooms. It isn't built for TV and entertainment at the patient's bedside.
